In this edition of East Idaho Newsmakers, Nate Eaton sits down with local news icon Terry Miller.

Miller was the news director at KIDK Channel 3 for over 20 years. When he retired in 2008, he was the longest serving news director in the state of Idaho (and possibly the country). He also worked as an anchor and reporter prior to coming to Idaho and witnessed historical events during his distinguished news career.

Miller is also responsible for helping our own Nate Eaton break into the news business as Eaton’s first job was at KIDK when Miller hired him in 2006.

During their conversation, Eaton and Miller discuss his career, the current state of the local and national media and a variety of other issues.
